This great little island was once owned by the Texas Oil Tycoon before being taken over by the Bahamas. This island was considered to be  used by the most important people of their times, for example, only V.I.P's such as George Bush Sr., Lyndon Johson and John Lenon, to name a few, were allowed to go there. Now it is open to the public, and  with a large boat marina and some great scenic views including  the 3rd largest Barrier reef, Spanish Cay is a great little getaway.
