Arthur's Town is a very peaceful and tranquil place to visit.  It is located on the northwest coast of Cat island and is an approximate  thirty-five minute flight from Nassau.  Here there are endless beaches with sand banks that stretch for miles.  You can walk out to sea and collect sand dollars, sea eggs and numbers of different sea shells.  Old  Columbian and Arawak  caves, ruins and plantions are still there and are a site to see.  There are many accomodations and great restaurants there that are worth the trip.  This island is very scenic and captive in  nature, a laid back and peaceful getaway.
