Here, on the southeast tip of Cat Island, you will find a jewel on its own.  Most people come here for  fishing.  There is great deep-sea trolling and line fishing here, and a large marina for yachts.  Hawks Nest houses an excellent  resort called Hawk's Nest Resort & Marina.  They have  superb private rooms that are air-conditioned, a club house with a bar, restaurant, library, t.v, phone etc. It is located on the beach front and offers watersport activities for the whole family.  This  is a great location for a fishing vacation or a quiet getaway.
