Staniel Cay is a boater's paradise. There's a great hotel named the Staniel Cay Yacht Club which has cottages on the ocean for rent as well as a full service marina.. The surrounding
waters are shallow and make for great snorkling as you can swim 30 ft.out and find conchs along the bottom of the ocean. This ideal setting makes it a beautiful area to go sailing and
yachting. There is also great fishing as there are shallow banks on one side and the ocean on the other. Thunderball Grotto is a popular tourist attraction as it was the site used for many
dive scenes in the James Bond movie "Thunderball". |
