Rock Sound is the largest village on Eleuthera and is found on the southern tip of the island. There you will find many hotels, one of which has a championship golf course. There are many miles of untouched beaches, lots of caves to explore and plenty of blue water to snorkel in. The shallow waters of the Bahama Banks offer great snorkeling because of the numerous amounts of reefs. There is great fishing in the area if you are searching for Dolphin or Wahoo. The local restaurants serve fantastic Bahamian food which they will gladly serve "to go" for a beach picnic.
